Belgium played Colombia in a friendly. The game was at a stalemate until a early goal in the second half broke the deadlock. Falcao, the star of french club team Monaco, recieved a through ball in the middle, and had a 1v1 with the keeper. He dribbles past the keep and scores an open netter, giving Colombia a 1-0 lead. About 10 minutes later a cross from outside the box is headed back towards a player in the middle of the box. Ibarbo receives it and touches to the opposite side before shooting and scoring. The box score does not give either side justice, since many chances both sides had were very close to scoring.
Jordan played Uruguay in the 1st leg of the World Cup playoff spot. Jordan, who's odds of making it this far weren't very high, played a tough and experienced Uruguay team. Pereira opened the gates for Uruguay with a open net finish after the keeper came out to block a header, leaving Pereira to pick up scraps. Then, from a throw in, a couple one touch passes and a through ball that the defender couldn't stop gave Stuani a goal. The 3rd goal came from Lodeiro when a ball to Cavani was stopped before going out of play. He then passed it up top, where Lodeiro did what looked like a half chip, half power shot. Since the keeper was out of place from trying to stop Cavani's ball, the shot lifted over everyone and went in, even leaving the goalscorer wondering how that happened. The fourth goal was a wide open cross to Rodriguez, who touched it down and ripped it into near lower corner. The final goal was from Cavani, who had a free kick in extra time. The shot went beautifully around the wall and into opposite upper 90, making the final score 5-0 Uruguay. Jordan needs to pull off the greatest game they have ever played in order to beat these odds in the second leg.
